Las Vegas Gold Coin Buyers

Gold coins can be described as any coin made up of mostly gold or completely gold and usually stamped on the front or back field of the coin. In today’s gold market most of the gold coins that are being sold have been intended for enthusiasts and or collectors. Bullion coins nominal value is irrelevant because these coins serve as a method of investing in gold. Gold has a much higher density than other metals which makes it considerably harder to counterfeit and a challenge not easily overcome. Gold unlike other metals can be divvied into smaller units, with out destroying its value. Gold is often times melted and re-coined or put into ingots time and time again.

Gold Coins

Gold coins are usually made up of an alloy such as gold or silver with other metals mixed into it to help make it last longer and make it more durable. A good example of fineness of gold is a gold ingot marked .999 fine which boils down 999/1000 pure gold with the other 1/000 being a different alloy. Because of 1.000 fines is too soft for coinage or ingots and it’s been widely accepted that .999 is 24kt gold. Nevada coin and Jewelry is one of the frontrunners with some of the most innovative ways of testing gold and has this modern marvel the x-ray spectrometer hooked up to a 32 inch monitor which allows you the customer to see the exact percentage of gold content and other alloys your gold coin contains which is very important with privately minted gold coins.

The South African Krugerrand was first introduced to the general public in 1967 and had a very memorable coming out party due to the fact that it was the first modern, low- premium one troy ounce gold coin to weigh exactly one troy ounce. Face values where minted on all bullion coins because they did in fact carry a face value as legal tender and this aided with importing and exporting from country to country, as well as subject laws against counterfeiting these bullion coins. When looking at a bullion coins true value its monetary value is irrelevant because the true worth is dictated by their troy weight and the market price of its precious metal and any premium brought on by that bullion specific coin at that given time.

Really cool cats over at Nevada Coin and Jewelry. You would’ve thought that I was “Madonna” the way those guys treated me. I was so mesmerized by all of the antiques, they have in there, I believe I was there for two hours, just looking, unbelieveable! When I went in I was so hot, they offered me a cold bottle of water, how cool is that? It felt like home to me. I wanted to get a price for some old jewelry that was passed down by grandma, I was well satisfied. When I left the shop, I was singing “Money, Money, Money.

While vacationing in Las Vegas I did what a lot of people do I’m sure or at least that’s what I’m telling my wife ..I blew through the money I brought a little quicker than expected and I ended up having to shop my Rolex around to several dealers to save the trip. So I looked online for places, most offers over the phone were low and that’s if they would even quote me in the first place. I spoke to a guy at Nevada Coin and Jewelry who gave me a fair ball park price and a reasonable explanation as to why his number couldn’t be solid. Went down expecting to get the lower number and in fact Robert their Rolex expert said my Rolex was a better model then I had described. He paid me a higher number than he quoted. Thanks for saving my vacation guys.

Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. Building had great security to helped me feel safe in handling my items.

Been living in Vegas for many years and never had to sell or hock any of my items unfortunately as luck would have it that day did eventually find me and let me tell you is it a tough racket to find a decent place out here to do business with. Pawn shops are a joke and could care less about their customers and treated me like another number. Tried and tried and place after place the numbers where all over the place. Finally decided to go to these guys and I’m glad I did. They tested each piece of my jewelry right in from of me with some kind of xray machine. They explained how they calculated the price and paid me cash on the spot. Avery was very helpful and didn’t mind answering my questions and explaining what they do. I left feeling I got the best price for my items. I would recommend them to anyone looking to sell their jewelry.

Grateful for the Nevada Coin and Jewelry shop, I just adore it. I took some collectable figurines in and they bought them. I came out smelling like a rose. You should’ve been there to see the big smile on my face. I ran all the way home to look for some more. Can’t wait to get back! I can sure use the money!

What inspired me to go to NV Coin and Jewelry was I was an ad on the TV for the shop. I was not too sure about going to NV Coin and Jewelry to sell my jewelry because I have been to many other pawn shops but haven’t found a good deal for my jewelry. After I went to Nevada Coin and Jewelry it was a big relief for me selling my jewelry for a good price.

This dealer was beyond excellent in all respects! No low-ball games, no fooling around. These people are honest, and the transaction was handled smoothly with complete transparency. I will definitely recommend Nevada Coin & Jewelry to everybody I know!

I am a brazilian and had the chance to deal with Nevada Coin. I was there to sell some gold coins and they paid me the best price I could fetch in Las Vegas. They are professional, courteous and trustworthy. Before visiting their premises I got a tentative appraisal by phone which I found reasonable. In the shop the attendant offered to approach the manager to get me a (gasp) BETTER price. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother talking to their rude and unprofessional competitors. They will treat you like a moron and quote prices accordingly. For Nevada Coin, five Stars all the way.

Great family run store. I’m well taken care of every time I show up at this location. Thank you Nick.

They took the time to help me sell my item and find an item. The staff does not rush you or pressure you into buying something. They take you on a little adventure by telling you about the items you are selling and looking at…
